If it isn’t fun, find a way to make it fun

Over the last year, a number of factors have led to success for Netgen and more importantly our clients.

Forward Thinking

At Netgen we dedicate a large percentage of our time to R&D, ensuring everyone on the team stays current and continues to learn. This R&D is also focused on listening and learning from our valuable customers, who provide feedback and insight for keeping Netgen at the cutting edge of digital marketing. This is what led Netgen to invest in online video development. Our team, led by Gabriel Proulx, provides the highest quality HD web and motion graphic videos for our customers. This has allowed Netgen to expand past web and mobile development, now being able to provide our clients with all of their development and strategy needs. We truly believe video is the essence of bringing our clients brands to life online.

Learning

Brad and Kyle Planning
When Brad and I started Netgen we knew we wanted to be more then just another web development company.  Our vision could only be realized by surrounding ourselves with the proper people; experts in their field (but not self proclaimed wink). For us, the best way to do this was through continuing to stay lean focused on investing in our people and eliminate the standard overhead in business. Being a virtual company, utilizing 37 signals tools, Skype, Telix and Go To Meeting, have allowed us to invest in our people, who in turn invest in our customers and their needs.

You need to meet the foundation of Netgen: Gabe, Fred, Carolynn, Chris, Brad, Kyle and Kaitlin

Dedication

Brad and Kyle Fishing (and working)
In July of last year, we started as two and then we grew and grew - As previously mentioned, we are focused on being a company that can not only fulfill our customers digital development needs, but support their business strategy on an ongoing basis. Investing in people, who not only live the Netgen culture but love doing what they do, ensures our customers get the service and results they need. We do not have standard 9-5 work days, we do not require people to work Monday to Friday, we run on empowerment and this is what breeds success.

We allow our team to choose the days, times and hours they work, because we know our team is dedicated and more importantly take pride in their work and pride in solving our clients problems. We are dedicated to ensuring coming to work is fun every day! Which leads to one of the most important aspects of Netgen’s Core Values and the success we have had.

Having Fun

Because we live by this mandate:

“If it is not fun, then find a way to make it fun”

This blog was inspired by our long weekend at the “Chaffeys Lock Office”
